Hey guys, I wanted to share experience in this first post of mine and ask if anyone had a similar problem.

I am trying to get my newly bought QX70S 3.7 AWD (2015, first registration 2016) in top notch condition. I fucking love this car.
The car has 77k kilometres, but the previous owner (some company) skipped the last maintenance. Now due are spark plugs, oil change, brake fluid change, gearbox oil change, engine air filters (that one I did myself), new brake calipers, air conditioner refill, a new differential support bearing (I am not sure how it's called in English, the bearing that holds the rear diff on to the frame), because the rubber cover/seal on the current is torn, and a complete underbody anti-corrosion coating (because of the heavy road salting in Germany).
Yesterday I treated the leather interior with SONAX PremiumClass and wanted to also clean the air filters of the front seats. But there weren't any filters! Just the blowers, which looked really mouldy, yikes! Today I contacted the Infiniti Service and they acknowledged the lack of seat filters on QX70 models after 2014.

I might need to dismount the front seats to clear the blowers, there are 5 bolts on each seat I think, and maybe even dismount the blower. The space underneath the seats is impossible small to operate. I might then install some universal micro-filter by just cutting it in circular shape and taping it to the blower housing.

Cheers from Munich!

i have 2011 and still didn't check my under seat filters yet but for a luxury car cutting costs on filters that's sucks
and i still don't get why we still don't have the turn signal blinker on the mirror when every other nissan and infiniti model has one

i believe my 2016 QX70 has a similar issue where I do not have filters, I purchased the filters but how do i put them on?

I have an update: the blowers do NOT have filters; all the seats after a certain production year are filter-less. I have dismounted the driver seat, because I was installing a custom made seat cover, and saw that the blower wasn't mouldy any more. I had sprayed it with anti-mould spray an year ago and after some usage it was gone. Same story on the passenger side.

Thank you for confirming. I really thought I was that idiotic that I could not get these filters on. Guess I will be putting these Nissan OEM filters on for sale since my car (2016) does not have them. Would you be able to share what anti-mould spray you used? Thanks!

Yes, after a certain year (2014/2015?) they went with built-in version which does not provide the ability to replace the filter, and supposedly able to last the life of the car. I attempted to clean mine as my climate control heating and cooling does not work very well.
