I own a QX70 2015, the tire size I am using is 275/45/20 whereas the stock tire on the manual is 265/50/20. The odometer is showing ~15 -18 kmph more speed than actual. I have verified from GPS speed, and obviously I can't drive on fast lanes as everyone wants to overtakes since I am driving below the speed limit.
I have checked the difference of speed becs of change of tyre size from stock and it stated the difference should be about 3kmph only, but mine is approximately 15-18 kmph.
Also, the previous owner has changed the tyres recently (approx 15k kms old), but the tyres are Chinese (Horizon).
Any suggestions what would be the reason? Should I get the new stock tyres? Or there could be other reason?
