This is new to me and have never had Infiniti before. But much better than my multiple Honda's and Acuras. Looking to do some mild mods like... Exhaust, springs, intake as well as 17 Qx70 limited tail lights. Would also like to find GTR wheels. In Carver county MN looking for some friends with some info/experience with this thing and what I can do affordably. All stock just waiting for parts. Would also like to find a group or club for Infiniti's in MN

Lower with H&R Sport Springs, 25 mm wheel spacers, and Megan camber arms. For more roar, I would recommend Stillen Gen 3 CAI.

The drone still there around 18k and 21k rpm. Once you got pass this range is really nice. For now, I still enjoying the extra tone from the exhaust. Planning to do some sound deadening to see if it helps any.

Yeah, I figured as much. That’s about the rpm area that bothered me. Sound deadening will probably help. I still miss mine, despite the minor complaints

Any other option for springs? Want a bit more than a 1 inch drop. Front, rear or both for camber arms? TIA

Coilovers if you want to go lower. You will need both front and rear camber arms with any drops.

Good to know. Thanks. I think I will just stick with the springs. Is the stillen cai from g37? The one you have to cut holes in your radiator support? How tough as a diy? TYI

I live in Carver county as well and bought my qx70 in October. Definitely join the MNNI Facebook page (Minnesota Nissan Infiniti). There are a lot of g35/g37/q50 and 350z/370z owners, but I don’t see many 2nd gen FX/QXs around. It’d be great to hear and see how the H&R springs install goes if you go that route. Do you plan on installing yourself or bringing it to a shop? I’m getting the fx50 Akebono BBK on soon, just waiting for parts.
