Nice looking qx70

Thanks! No mods done yet, but very close to pulling the trigger on Z1 intake and getting my front windows tinted to match the rest of the car. Will post in the next month or two when I get it done.

So I put on the Ark exhaust a couple months ago. Do a lot of highway driving, it took some getting to used to around 2-2.5k rpms as it’s just a low steady bass sound that fills the cabin, but all other ranges are an amazing deep and aggressive sound. Loving the product.

Hit 104k miles and the rear differential bushings went. Replaced them with these:
Rear Differential - mount bushing. Dropped in
Magnum FLOW Pro DRY S Air Filter these air filters at the same time. What a difference. It was immediately more responsive and what used to be a sluggish throttle response is now noticeably more sensitive.

What a fun car to drive.

Another update!

Tires ended up needing to be replaced (I believe they were Continentals if memory served). Not many options for the 265/45R21 but my guy recommended the Michelin Latitude Tour HP and they are a really nice upgrade from what the ride/feel was before.

Had to replace the amp that sent the signal from the fuel tank to the CPU (was honestly just annoying, nothing to write home about other than it wouldn't pass inspection otherwise.

And today, finally got around to tuning with the Uprev. Wow! What a difference from a responsiveness perspective. 1500-3000rpm's are a completely different feel and the car just wants to speed up and speed up fast. Was a bit nervous that I wouldn't notice that much of a difference but it truly is. Now it's tuned for 93-octane and the redline was pushed up to 7700rpm. You can feel the difference all over, really. I'll have a video to post of the dyno (soon) but I have the readout for you all to see. $1,000 isn't cheap, but keeping this car long-term I can already tell it's gonna be a great investment. Until next time!

True, it is a bit steep but my wife and I haven’t been able to go on any vacations last year or this year so it made the decision easier lol

Got the Unavi Apple CarPlay/Android Auto installed today. Couldn’t be more pleased with it. Had it in my previous car (2017 Maxima) and it works identically. Honestly there is quite an improvement over the Bluetooth system from a sound quality and phone call quality standpoint.

With all the horror stories I’ve heard about the Tesla style dash and other things, wanted to post something positive here. Their customer service was great and the install went off without a hitch.

Stock calipers re-painted to Porsche acid green and put new slotted rotors on to finish the look with the wheels.
