Hello all, just a friendly Canadian with an american FX lol

I previously owned a infiniti G37s but needed to switch to an SUV for work purposes and driving a slammed G in snow is a no go!

Now I'm the proud owner of an 2008 FX35 AWD! love it so far, has the pesky AC amp cold start issue which drives me and my remote start mad but such is life!

I have the mod bug since letting go of my G37s and have been hoping to make some progress on my FX this summer! ill list below all the mods that have caught my eye, I've been in contact with a few members over some things and parts for sale so if anyone has any info or items for sale let me know, as mentioned I'm up in Canada so exchange is killer, nonetheless let me know!

MOD LIST:

Akebono upgrade kit
Sport tails
Intake
Cargo cover for the trunk area
Coils
CAS woofer box
LED mirror covers
Body mods such as a new front bumper and side skirts

working on a retro fit for my headlights
trying to track down a set of 22" wheels also

Thanks again for anyone who has answered questions I've had or inquiries about parts

Look forward to your build. Been a while since we've seen a newly mod'd Gen 1.
You should also consider some GTR 20's. They are the perfect fit IMO (with a little fender rolling).

I have a black toneau cover, sport tail lights, and a square set of GTR wheels. :sneaky:

i was under the impression staggered set ups are no go on these? i hope thats the case as my custom Rohana RC7s are sold now!

20x10 and 20x12 they were incredible!
 
Hey guys trying to figure out how to post a new message about this but can't find a way, so I'll post here.

On my way to school this morning all was well, wet snow covered roads. Normal driving. And when I parked I got the smell of 100 burn outs coming through my heat vents. I have no idea what it can be from. It's not very noticeable under the hood, but man oh man when the heat was on it was bad bad.

What could this be?
