Thinking about pulling the factory muffler and installing a single Borla muffler.

The factory muffler is called "Dual exhaust" but it's really one input into a dual output.

I'm looking into removing all that dead weight from the rear and clamping on a single Borla muffler.

I'm thinking it will perform perfectly and maybe even sound good.
 
Let me know how it sounds and looks! I have been thinking about changing the exhaust on mine!
 
I’m considering using a 350z single output exhaust and adding a g35 extension and then extending the muffler or just the tip out farther so I’m interested to see what you do.

I have an idea for what to do about the cutouts in the rear bumper and having one with no tip under it but it’s probably more than most people would want to do.

I have little interest in making the tip line up with one of the cutouts. I just want to open up the exhaust stream plus get rid of the dead weight.
