FX50 RWD switch

Hey everyone! First time i couldn’t find an answer on the forum so decided to make a post! I want to be able to do sick burnouts with my fx50 but obviously need to bypass the AWD system first. From what i read there’s no AWD fuse to just pull or wire a switch into, the ground for the AWD system needs to be located then a switch wired in. Is this correct? Has anyone located it/thrown in a switch? Will traction control still kick in with VDC off like most of the other newer Infiniti models? Thanks!

From my experience driving the FX. The traction control and stability control systems are pretty aggressive even you turn the VDC system off, it still intervenes too much.

I would be very interested to see how this project shapes up.

On my old 350z you could wire a switch in that trips the Slip and VDV and turns off 99% of vehicle assist electronics till you restart the car. That’s something that a lot of 350z guys did...and i doubt its as common in the SUV community, if it exists at all.

I once tried pulling VDC fuse. Car was an animal & I put fuse back in pretty quickly. & that's on the 35, so only imagine on the 50. I didnt feel safe driving it like that

I've been wanting to do this for years. The switch you're talking about is basically a yaw sensor bypass
