IMG_1973.PNG How's it going guys need some help on the Aero kit before I make a purchase I know the front protector and rear under protector what bugs me is the side sill and door under molding anyone can let me know what parts those are or better yet a description I'm guessing the side will are the side skirts. And door under molding no clue what that is. I've searched through infiniti parts catalog hopefully finding a exploded picture view but no luck. Thanks!
 
I always assumed side sill protector is the part the goes below the doors (wheel to wheel, basically the side skirts). The door under molding should be the parts that goes on the doors them selves. But it could be vice versa. Either way they both come as a set so you’d get both sides and all peices.

This is correct and you need both of those pieces for it work. Can't have one without the other.
 
has anyone installed the kit as black on top of a gray vehicle? I have a 2016 KAD and installed the front protector (K21 paint code i believe). in the right light and angle the color looks exact, but also in the right light and angle it looks totally different. was considering buying the whole kit in black
 
They look similar prob one shade off. But when the sun hits it uncan tell the difference. That's why I had to have a body shop match the kit to the KAD paint.
 
Sorry for the late reply been busy thanks for all the info I am currently working on saving to get the whole oem aero kit!
 
Anyone tried fitting this kit on to a 2016 QX70? I asked the dealer and they said it does not fit.
 
it fits, i put the front bumper on 2016. the only difference is the paint colors. i have a 2016 graphite gray, the front bumper is really close, in the right light it looks exactly the same, in the right light, it looks totally different. eventually i will get it painted.

when i ordered it, the dealer called me and told me before they order it, they want to let me know that it doesnt fit and to make sure i wanted it before they sourced it in. i told them i did my research and that it does fit and yes i want the order to be processed

I tell you that from experience the colors look the same but u will be able to tell the difference in color. At first I thought they were the same and then I could tell the difference so I had the whole kit repainted to match.

Did you buy it? thinking of getting one for my 2015 QX70. Not sure to go with the FX35 or the FX50 parts.

These will fit any fx/qx70 from 2009+ as long as you don’t have the limited model.
 
Random question regarding the OEM aero side skirts, but do these "sync up" with every model? Non-sport and sport?

Only asking because I've seen a few pics (and I'll try to find an example) where the FX/QX70 will have the aero side skirts installed, but the chrome trim underneath the door does not line up with the chrome trim directly underneath the front fender vents. It appears as if the chrome trim underneath the door is actually wider than the trim on the fender.
