Advanced AutoParts has rear Akebono ceramic pads with coupon for $46.00 but have basic rotors the Wearever brand doesnt say if ceramic or not but those are 42 for 2 with coupon as well. next level is wagner for 132 for 2and the beck/arnley premiums for 2 is 122 this setup is for the rear i dont know why my rear went out faster then the fronts i replaced all at the same time with napa ceramic pads all around and their regular rotors the fronts have at least more then half of pad left. If anyone can help thanks in advance.

look at post#8 in this thread:
https://www.infinitiscene.com/search/1/?q=14846-R1-Eline-Rotors-Posi-Quiet-Ceramic-brakes

prices are from rockauto.com. Try and get the premium centric rotors...very good rotor. And the posiquiet ceramic pads w/shims are pretty good too.

When braking, the FX squats due to applying rear brakes first. It does this to try and keep the nosedive to a minimum. Your rear brakes will always deplete faster than your fronts on the FX.

those parts are a lil bit pricey was trying to stay with this setup becuase i heard good reviews on akebono pads but not to sure about advanced auto parts rotors.

$43.79x2 for the Premium rear rotors - $87.58
$28.99 for rear Ceramic brakes pads - $28.99

$116.57 for a whole new rear set-up is a pretty good deal.

Akebono's are $45
Centric CTEK rotors are $50/pr....im running these, and a few others on here, we have had no problems.

has anyone have any problems fitting this setup i heard you have to heat the shield and bend a little for the rotors to fit?

Also these arent quiet setup in reverse?

I have the premiums and they fit perfectly. No bending of the heat shields required. The first stop or two when the brakes are cold make a sound. It's not really a squeal like the oem brakes but it is a very brief audible sound. After that everything is silent moving forward and in reverse.

yea just trying to debate rock autos rotors and pads vs. advance autoparts akebono pads and wearever rotors i have napa but they didnt last long, autozone is just horrible the only thing stopping me is the order online part.

does anyone know if rockauto has a warranty or return policy for centric parts?

Anyone use the Beck Arnley, I was at a trade show and saw them. they seemed prety good quality. they are a big Mercedes and BMW aftermarket supplier. i also put cheap rotors on the rear and after 5 k they r toast. In everyones opinion, it looks like the Centric are the best.

is this the correct parts

Wassup guys,

Just wanted to confirm these are the correct parts for Centric, do these rotors need to be cleaned off or sprayed or turned or good to go?

i was reading up on the Centric Premium Rotor-Preferred theirs a runout process to break in rotors and do a run out process for this anyone ever have to do this with their centric setup?

i was thinking about doing akebono pads with beck/anley setup rating high parts and no run out or break in needed.

but if you guys recommend centric posi quiet pads with centric premium rotors please let me kmow

Quick question, are the rotors and pads the same for a 2012 fx35 and a FX50 with sport breaks? I called Infiniti and they told me both vehicles use the same rotors and pads. Just trying to make sure before I order the parts to replace front and rear rotors and pads.

it's unlikely. you can look at your front brake calipers. if you can see part of the back of the outer brake pads then you don't have the premium or fx50 brakes.

What are the part number for the front and rear brake pads and calipers when you have the Akebono break kit? Not sure if I’m supposed to be looking at q60 parts or qx70
