Dealership is looking for $2200 for all work since this is a special order part and is rare in general. If anyone has one or knows where to get one for cheap please let me know asap. Have checked used parts sites with no luck. Willing to do trades depending on what it is.

Buy aftermarket High flow cats, save money
Ive been told this many times. Forgot to state it here is that i am not looking to get an aftermarket cat as I want to keep the oem cat. Yes i understand the oem cat costs more but after market cats never last as long as oem cats. But thanks for the suggestion

How much does the dealer want for the cats from them?

Best price they can do is 2000$ for the passenger side cat including labor and taxes. i feel like they are trying to take advantage of me and its probably gonna be just an oxygen sensor. But i can always check if they replaced or even touched the rusty bolts on the cat or even replaced the cat. Cuz i dont play games with dealerships.

I agree with you. Cost for one cat should only be $700-$1100

another $1300-900 to install is ridiculous. Show them the above link and pricing and ask where they are getting their quote from. Even if they replace each bolt, gasket, should not be that much over price of the part.

if you are planning to be in NYC area any time soon I'll swap you one of my catalytic converters for yours for MUCH less, mine have been sitting in a box in my garage for a few years

In that case i will try an fine some cats from a G or 370z and well the flange if you have to.
It will be a lot cheaper.
