Ive been looking at purchasing the updated front bumper for my 09 fx50s and i was wondering if its possible to purchase the lower front bumper assembly with the DRL's they look so good but i cant find them anywhere. I can only find the ones with the fog lights. I would install led drls like in other forums but it doesnt look that good to my liking.

Go the Infiniti dealer and ask for a 2017+ QX70 Limited lower front fascia. IMO that shit looks hideous especially in person and you’re better off buying the aero kit for the price of that bumper...
Im so surprised so many people hate it. Looks like im the only crazy freak that likes the look. Im gonna go to the dealership and see it. Thanks

If most people hate it for the silver trim im gonna wrap it gloss black

How does one swap out/install this lower front facia on the 2015 QX70 when the front bumper cover is one-piece; the lower, black portion on my vehicle of the bumper is black; the upper portion moonlight white (body color); all one solid, rubber cover. Curious...

  1. Pop the hood
  2. Remove all of the top bumper fastener clips
  3. There are two bolts on each side (from where you removed the clips) that mount to a white plastic bumper stabilizer, remove them
  4. Pop out the plastic push clips that hold the rubber liner (runs down the left and right side of the engine bay) and fold it back so you can access the final two bolts that are connected to the inside of the bumper stabilizer. Remove them, as well.
  5. Pop out the front wheel well trim. Right where the bumper connects to the fender there is another bolt (both sides) remove it.
  6. You should now be able to pop out the front bumper from the fender. Let it hang down and rest on the ground.
  7. You will now be able to see all of the fascia bolts that are attached to the bottom of the bumper. Remove them.
  8. Hang th bumper back up on the car.
  9. Slide underneath the front of the car to remove the last of the clip fasteners and bolts to free the fascia
  10. Voila
Here’s a photo of how it should look after step 8:

Are you looking to do the same thing as me ? Lol

No prob! I guess I sounded smart, but yes, might be interested in what you’re wanting to do; I don’t really care for the stock fascia of my QX70; much prefer the Sport Limited.

I have the aero front on '10 FX50s. Love the looks on it. Would love to have two small strip LEDs on the bottom similar to the limited shown above . I am handy .I may have to find a car that has what I am looking for, buy the LEDs and wire them up

I just got an idea and was looking at the stock old bumper grille design and am thinking is it possible to replace the stock fascia with the DRL fascia while still having the old guppy mouth grille?

It looks much better in black. I installed mine when upgrading the upper bumper and grille.

@Spencerkey22 Yes you can do that. The Upper bumper is compatible to swap to either lower bumper. It’s like Infiniti planned ahead for this.

Pls tell me its possible to use the DRL leds.. do you have to hard wire them? Splicing? Is the connection different from h8 for the foglights?

@Spencerkey22, I don’t even have them. The lights and ballasts are about 500 each. There are some aftermarket solutions though. One of these I’ll get around to to installing either the OEM or aftermarket set.

Hello, I see that the lower bumper with DRL slots is the FBM26-1A50A... do you have any part number for the LED DRL ? I can't find it anywhere.

Also, is any one familiar with these DRL installed in the upper bumper just below the headlight ?

I have seen these on few cars, but can't find any reference for it. Is this OEM ?

This is OEM but only in Dubai. I have tried to find the bumper with no luck.

The DRLs on the lower facisa are shared from the nissian juke RS nismo. How funny but it is true. I have found the left side drl on ebay for 200$ and the right side from a used parts in A grade condition for 250$ the part number for the qx70 drl is B66051A70A for oem infiniti and 266053YW1A for oem nissian. If you need the links or have any other questions please let me know.

WOW, this is already great help. Thank you a lot. I can handle it from here :D

Back to the upper bumper DRL, it is true that I have seen these on middle east cars only. I travel a lot around Dubai, I will try to check.
You were saying that you were not able to find the bumper ... do you believe that a special bumper is needed for these ? And let us say the bumper is found , were you able to find a part number for the LEDs ?
