Thinking about getting a front upper strut bar for my 2015 QX70. Found one that says it's for an 08-12 FX35. Are they that different, or will it work for me?

I would be cautious about the 2008-2012 statement, maybe it is a mistake but the engine was different in 2008. 2009-2017 are the years that would apply to the second generation fx/qx.

It should still clear the motors arent that different size wise. I have a DIY for front strut posted on here FYI.

Interesting. I have a gt spec from a 2008 fx35. Gona see if i can make it fit my 5.0

Please report back on G37 bar fitment! I want a bar but have trouble finding a quality FX/QX70 bar these days.

Just got the 2010 FX35, thinking to get the strut bar on the car.

Got mine off the internet. Works and fits fine, straight from China.
Don’t drive hard without one. My gen 1 had a Stillen, this one is pretty much a “No Name “ but it’s a little sturdier by the looks and size of it.

Mine looks like the one below.

^ That Cusco G37 brace was plug-and-plug into your Gen 2 FX35? AWESOME.
Yep, didn't really have to move or re position any lines or hoses. It's a little bit of a squeeze on the drivers side to get around the brake lines. All in all very easy to install.

Heres' mine, thanks for the recommendation.

Have you noticed any difference in ride since installing? I can't really tell because I got new wheels and wider lower profile tires around the same time.

Yes i think it feels flatter in the corners.

Oh yes, ordering this tonight! Been looking for years it seems for a GT Spec or Dragon (Sohail on here). Wish we knew the G37 bars fit earlier!
I put a Stillen bar on my Gen1 and while it didn't transform the truck into a 911, it did keep the front a little more tighter/composed. Not really flatter (that's the sway bar/springs, not the strut bar), but less deflection/squish in the front chassis. I expect a similar modest improvement on the gen 2. Our hoods are so long and the engine bay has no other bracing like this, so mechanically it's asking for distortion/flex in the turns.
