Finally got around to installing paddle shifters! Purchased a complete set from a g37 and was able to modify the bracket and plastic shroud steering surrounding to fit nicely.
Way too long, a lot of customizing the bracket/shroud taking it out, and test fitting, then back to the drawing board. About 10 hours total over two days, would have been much easier if I had rex's kit; but since I purchased a whole assembly with shifters, bracket, and shroud from a g37, I wanted to make it work. That looks good, how long it take you?
Why aren't you using them? Do you still have the car.Nice upgrade! Did mine over a year ago & sadly used the paddles only like 4 times![]()
Still have it....NYC Traffic sucks....cant really get to use them much when you are crawling at 5-10 mph in traffic. Why aren't you using them? Do you still have the car.
Finally installed the clear 2nd gen lights. The interior lights were easy. The top light I did not even have to remove much other then use the a panel removal tool and popped the part that allows you to access it Andy just used a long socket to remove the bolts and done in five minutes.
The outer lights were the most difficult ones. I removed the spare tire along with Bose sub amp, then used the panel removal tool and removed the rear part of the bumper and was able to access the wire to disconnect the passenger red light and connect the new light. Thae passenger light was the easiest of the two. The divers side was a pain bc the wire for some reason is up higher so I pulled back the side on the rear drivers side and wiggled my hand in there to disconnect the light red light and connect the new light.
Before and afterAny pictures?

Snapped a couple picks now that they have arrived - won't have them on the car till spring but I can say that I'm more than impressed with the purchase alreadyCan you post some pictures with them on the car, i'm curious how these look compared to the 21". I've always liked the design of the 21 inch wheels but didn't want to deal with the 21 inch tires.

Well worth itLike $900
