Replace QX70 head unit

Bought a 2016 QX70 without knowing much about it, just fell in love with looks/drive. Now there are some obvious upgrades I didn't know were missing.

I don't have navigation. While not a big deal, the base Bose sound system is awful for such a high end car. My question is is there a way to upgrade the head unit without losing existing button functionality? Went to Crutchfield and they don't have anything.

Please help. Head unit is worse than a 2010 KIA.

*UPDATE* as far as I can tell, it is physically impossible to upgrade/change my sound system. No aftermarket company offers anything. Infiniti dealer told me there is no way to install the upgraded sound system after the fact. I am beyond frustrated that there is literally no way to change the audio performance of my vehicle. I am beyond upset. Senseless...

Same frustration. I started switching out door speakers and have been surprised. Started by putting some two way speakers in the front doors - mistake. Figured out that they have a crossover splitting the lows to the door and the highs to the dash. Found a high efficiency 6.5" as a replacement. Huge upgrade. Bumps way harder than the Bose sub. Ended up with a two way Infinity 6032cf for the backdoors - nice clean mid/high end. Went ahead and dynamatted the doors while I had the panels off. All said and done, under $500 and a huge improvement.

Still want to do a proper sub upgrade, but this looks stock and sounds 100% better.

Thanks for the info. I will try that out. Biggest frustration is not being able to stream from the Bluetooth. Makes no sense.

The electronics are pathetically outdated.

One note - for those CDT speakers, you'll need to re-use the speaker frame from the stock speakers (or buy the deep version of these). They're a little too deep for the standard aftermarket adapters. Just peel the old speaker off the frame and mount it on the bottom of the CDT speaker. I used a thin foam ring (I think it came with the speakers) between the two and cinched it down with zip ties.

I can stream music from my iPhone 6. But I can't access the library via the car, and the phone stuff wouldn't sync either.
