So today I tried to remove my grille on my 2011 FX35 and I couldn't seem to release the tabs at the bottom. I took removed all of the screws but didn't want to break the tabs. Does anybody how to release the grille? Thanks.

Just press the release tabs in the middle and pull to the front

This. Just use one hand to slightly pull on the front of the grill, away from the body, while depressing the clips. They don't really make any satisfying noises, or feels, that let you know it is depressed enough, which is where pulling at the same time comes in. It will slide out with some elbow grease.

THANK GOODNESS for this thread... been dying to know how to do this.. next up are the side vents!

Yeah, a how to on the fender vents would be nice. I'd like to have them painted to match the body. But as they say, beggars can't be choosers.

It was just remove three screws and push the plastic to access the vents and then push on the clips of the vents to remove them. Should be a total of 6 clips

Thanks Oscar. It'll be a little while before I get around to doing anything with them. I've even considered just ordering the factory painted vents if Infiniti has some available, and the cost is similar to what it would cost to have mine painted.
