Axle | Suspension clanking during motion

2004 AWD. There's a noticeable noise when the car is in motion. I lifted the car today and moved the front wheels and there's a continuous clanking sound that's coming from under the car. I've just replaced one of the CV joints so not sure what else it could be.

Is there any play in the wheel? Wonder if it might be a tie rod? Well, not the tie rod itself, but the bushing that wears...

I just wanted to followup and give you a HUGE Thanks for steering me in the right direction. It was indeed the drive shaft. Ordered the part and replaced it this morning and the car feels like new again. The old drive shaft looked similar to yours; it was on the verge of snapping. This forum is awesome!

im having the same issues not sure if its related.I hear clicking while im driving and was told its its the drive shaft but looks like axle to me ? any thoughts

Did you look under your car? It should be visible if it's the drive shaft...
