Accent lighting

So my wife just picked up a benz and when I was sitting in it at night I noticed the accent lighting in there that is always on at night time. So was wondering if anyone has done that mod on their fx/qx? I seen some sites that sell the light strips but,don't know how good they are.

I think it would look good when done right. It would annoy me though if it was too bright.

We do have ambient light next to the dome lights,I have it on my FX37.

Well technically we also have it in the footwell, but I've never actually seen either put out any light even in the darkest night.

I didn't notice the foot well either until I switched to led. I put in 3k LEDs perfect color and intensity. There is also a very small led in the overhead light bezel, just behind the light, the shines down on the console.

What I meant really is that we can increase the intensity and the color of this light, I had it on my 335i and it was red accented and actually it did show some light at night, not like our FX's where I can hardly remember that it is out here, I thought about this instead of starting to punch holes in our vehicle interior!
