Hey guys new to the scene just got my first infiniti. Had a few nissans in the past. Anyways been searching on this site(love it) and another but cant seem to find the info im looking for.
First of I love car audio and just came from driving a older car which i did an complete aftermarket system to.
What i would like to do in the fx which is an 05 with factory nav. No overhead monitor. Sound system is completely stock except for the isimple module i put in for my ipod and android phone.
Thing is i have allways just replaced all bose components and went completely aftermarket in my nissan maximas. Easy stuff no problem.
With the fx i would like to keep it pretty simple(if thats possible lol).
1.) adding 10" sub and 800watt amp (easy)
2.) adding front components in all doors front tweeters will be high in A pillar. Back in doors by handle. (easy enough)
3.) want to power components with aftermarket 4 channel amp and run all wires from speakers to amp. Going thru grommets also.
4.)Tap into speaker output from radio, before bose amp. Connect RCA leads and run to equalizer input (eq will be in center console).
5.)use front,rear, and sub from eq to aftermarket amplifiers.
6.)retain factory bose amp for all factory dash and D pillar speakers to still function.
Of course i will be removing the factory sub. No need with the 10 and epicenter
