i just bought a QX70S and am getting an ARK exhaust put in next week! Will probably get tuned as same time, it looks from reading the forum I need to to exhaust shop that uses uprev.

I Work in the office across the street from the new Bass Pro building. Thank you! Looking forward to this car, I bought a Lexus RX 350 F Sport. There is no sport about it! Owned it for total of 8 months, and then started looking for more performance from an SUV without buying a Porsche. I can't wait to get her in, coming from Tucson w 22k miles . Thanks guys!

Patrick where did you go for tune? Looking at Mac auto sport in Parker, although they want $200 for exhaust install. No problem...But they want $900 for the license/tune/dyno...is this about right? They said I need to buy one time license from up rev Osiris for $300 and then $600 for AWD tune for a total of $900.

Guys does this cost sound about right?

My supercharged ZO6 was only $500 for a custom tune and dyno.

I haven't gotten mine tuned yet but it's on the to-do list. That sounds about right for the tune/install.

When is your QX going to be delivered?
 
Hopefully delivered next week! They fedex the docs to the wrong address! I think MAC autosports is the only AWD Dyno and up rev/Osiris guys in CO. My buddy has a supercharged Range Rover that wants to get a tune as well, would you like to try to get group discount?
 
The more I look at every ones vehicles the wish list gets longer and longer! I do have a bad habit!
 
Oh you'll get the bug quick hanging around here. So many awesome mods on so many awesome cars -it's hard not to find inspiration.

Take a nice "before" photo when your QX finally gets there. I'm putting money on it not staying that way for very long.
 
$900 is WAY TOO HIGH for an Uprev tune. $600-700 is the normal for the Uprev tune. I hate Uprev but its the only choice for out cars... if only Ecutek would support the 3.5 motor. But tuning really is a good idea. My car with Stillen G3s and Invidia CBE was running super lean. Surprised I didn't blow up after so much WOT. Also these motors are tuned for 93 from Nissan and the computer doesnt take out timing if it starts to pull and ping. In CA we have only 91 oct and I had to use Boostane almost every other fill up which left orange residue on my plugs and cats. So my tune made life way easier.

Does it matter that they have an AWD Dyno? He said this is why they are more expensive? They are the only one in Colorado that has AWD, anyone know any different?
