Hey guys so I finally figured out the door handle lock and unlock beep problem. Ordered the Nissan buzzer part that has now changed from the Nissan dealer(in Canada don't know about US) 25640-4GA7E swapped out the part which is behind the grill to your left attached with 1 screw and a connector plug. Here is the part for you guys to see (below) Works perfect as my part was all corroded from winter I guess from the salt and snow.

I have a 2012 FX35. Is the beeping problem you are talking about that it doesn't beep when you lock/unlock? Because I have that problem and every once in a while I'll think that I lock it and I actually don't. I need the beep sound.

Ya it wasn't beeping when I would push the door handle button. Just when I pressed lock button on key fob the horn would sound only.

Is there not a setting in the car's menu to turn it on and off, or am I thinking of something else?

i checked the settings, and left everything to on and i still had nothing, so i took the plunge ordered the part and the speaker was all corroded in the buzzer so it was the reason it wasnt working anymore. switched out the part and voila beeping!

Just some 1st gen'er input here, so it may not apply and take it for what it's worth...
There was a time that my lock/unlock beep beep went away. It wasn't in my settings (tech pkg), but there was a fix with the key fob buttons. I think that holding down both the lock and unlock buttons for like 10 or 15 seconds reset it and brought the chirp back.

thats to have the honk sound when you hit the lock button when you use the keyfob, if you hold lock and unlock for over 3 seconds it will turn that setting on or off.

Yeah, my settings are set to "on" too. Looking forward to this part coming in so I can swap it out.
