Now this, this I gotta take issue with. In good spirit, no offense and kick me in the nutz if I'm wrong but those tires look HUGE!!! These are the GTR wheels? They look sweet, for sure, but they're 20's, right? There's a lot of sidewall on them thar 20's man. Reminds me of what I have on my little 18's. I gotta stand by what I see in that those tires would measure @ least 32" diameter and I stand by it, possibly looking like a fool (wouldn't be the 1st and won't be the last time) not to mention the fact that would explain the torque reading.

Car for car, mod for mod, all things being equal, you're going to end up with extremely similar results, dyno be damned.

I've got a fun, quick story to share. Alright, so I'm at an intersection waiting for green, in the right lane. Got some jackass to my left. A car pulls to my right in a lane that will end not far on the opposite side of the intersection. I look over and it's a black S5. What year? Didn't ask. Didn't matter. Didn't care. Guy had to merge someway, somehow. I got's my moms in twinkletoes and moms gives me the thumbs up. Guy's got a friend in his. The light turns green and what a great launch @3k rpm's. S5 didn't see that coming, though he surged forward as well. Had him by almost 1 car 1/2 way through. Opposite side of the intersection (four lane divided highway and a major intersection, so large) he's a car and by the time I let of, just shifting into 3rd @ 75ish, he's 1/2 car behind my rear bumper. Was this an A5 w/S5 badging? Was this the worst driver ever? What I can say for sure is he was pissed (by the look on his face) and that was a blast. Thanks for the reply meme405!

I have a 1st Gen FX - Manufacture date on my car is November 2008 (my vehicle was one of a small group of 1st generation FX's which rolled off the line super late, because it was special ordered at an odd time between the transition of the assembly line from 1st generation to 2nd generation FX's) - Go check the manufacture date on your 2003 and I think you will notice it was built sometime in early 2002. So my car will be roughly 6 years newer than yours. And no mileage isn't the only consideration to power output and overall condition of a car. In most instances I'd go out on a limb and say a 2008 with 200k miles is likely better off than a 2003 with 100k miles. For example leaving a car parked for 6 years, and then firing it up will still have resulted in lost power.

Also keep in mind, although in general the VQ35DE is vastly the same from 2003 to 2008, there are minor valving and internal changes made in the engine. Things which help the engine run cleaner, or minor revisions to pieces where they learned things through warranty issues or service items. So a 2008 FX is improved over a 2003 counterpart.

As for the tires on the GTR wheels, I gave you the size, they are 30.5" plus or minus like .02 of an inch. They are EXACTLY stock size, this isn't a debatable item just because you seem to believe the tires look huge based on a picture.

For the record my car made 296 and 250 on a different dyno (non mustang) down in Washington. Those numbers are obviously way higher, and I think that dyno reads artificially high, but i'd say that my numbers on the mustang dyno (AKA that chart up above) is a fairly accurate representation of the performance of my car at that point in time.
 
This is a dumb conversation, we have countless vehicles here on the forum which demonstrate my car is pretty average.

Just because your car is way below that, whether it be because of the car, dyno, or any number of other factors, has nothing to do with the rest of us. So please stop spreading mis-information.

Alright meme405, have it your way. Whatever floats your boat. I thought these sorts of forums were here to learn, share and what not but I can see now that most, not all but most here are really just clinging to stale fx's that aren't really going anywhere and once someone with some knowledge from outside the bubble offers analysis, guys like you can't handle it and get their panties in a bunch. Between your emotional reply and the moderator's smart ass comment to my little ditty, I'm out, this is a total waste of my time and there's no reason for me to share anything else that I already have. I said I wouldn't argue with you, but I can't help myself so before I shut this down and send all emails from this site to auto delete, those tires, they measure at least 32 inches, guaranteed!
