Can anyone help me fix my horn all my steering wheel controls work fine its just the horn that doesn't work checked fuse and relay all are good when i jump the relay the horn works so im guessing its either a broken wire or horn switch has anyone ever had this problem? If so what did you do to fix it thanks

You can check the connection under the airbag on the steering wheel. You need a T30 Torx bit to remove the screw on the side of the airbag, lift the air bag and check.

No need to disconnect anything. Just check to see if the little green wire (red arrow) is in good condition. You can also press the silver metal ring (red arrow) to see if the horn sounds or not.

Need to be careful when remove the torx screw. The nut that the torx screw is welded on a flimsy metal tab, so don't put it too hard that it might bent inward which will prevent you to remove the torx screw. The torx is somewhat tightly on there due to the lock tight they use on the bolt, so press the torx bit hard enough to that you don't strip the star screw.

Ok so i did exactly what i was told and still the horn does not work also didnt find any broken wires and the metal ring is fine any other possible fixes or issues that anyone has ever encountered causing the horn to not work any help will be highly appreciated

Pull the green from there. Take a piece of wire, connect one end to the green wire and then touch the other end of the wire to metal ground on the car body somewhere. Be sure its bare metal body part. If the horn sounds, your clock spring is bad. If not, I'm out of ideas.

If you don't want to remove the airbag to test, you can also access the green wire via a connector at the bottom of the clock spring. Remove the steering column cover with the tilt switch (one phillips screw near the ignition switch) , look under it you will see a white connector, push a small metal pin into the grey & black wire (pretty sure it is grey & black). Ground this pin. If the horn still not working, pretty sure your clock spring is bad.

The horn wire is the pin I labeled "GREEN" in the picture below. Verify if it is indeed the gray & black colored wire goes to this "GREEN" pin.

Going to do that test . but is it possible that it could be the ipdm or a broken wire near the ipdm ?

Also if it was the clock spring wouldnt the horn sound if the alarm goes off because it doesn't
