Reversible Front Plate Mount

Well, I got a ticket for not having a mounted front plate (CA). As with most states, it's a fix-it ticket, meaning that I can mount the plate, get a signoff, and pay a reduced fine.

Question: My front bumper does not have drill holes, and I want to leave it that way. What are some good, reversible alternative mounts? Ideally something as centered and OEM looking as possible. Realistically it needs to be legit to get the sign off, but not overkill since I will probably remove it shortly thereafter. Tow hook? Magnet? Etc. What are you guys using?

Thanks!

I've been using this one on my G37 IPL:
Mower Deck Axles,Carrera,Cayman,John Deere,Kubota

It's a bit pricey but it's also extremely solid. The mounting rod looks like it was whittled from billet. Works as advertised and adjustable. I've got a QX70S on the way and I'll most likely try one of the Ebay adapters as they're half the price. All of them screw into the tow hook receptacle. If you go through a car wash with brushes(I never do this), you'll want to unscrew the license plate first.

I'll most likely try this one next: https://www.amazon.com/14-Up-Infini...&keywords=license+plate+bracket+infiniti+qx70

I use this, And I know Andy has one too
rho-plate for Infiniti

Guy who started this business is local to Vancouver. He self designed every piece and his design has been copied over and over now. He tests every car with a series of individual pieces to make sure the fitment is spot on (he did some testing on my car).

He recently released a newer version of his mount that is better, most imitation mounts havn't caught up to him yet. I definitely recommend his product.

I'm sorry but $109 is way overpriced for a license plate mount. Hell, $89 is too much.

You can buy something like this that is 12 bucks. But the tow hook solution is a little more elegant, and easily removable. Which is why for some of us the price tag is justified.

I have my old RHO plate mount. If you want one slightly cheaper just PM me. I have no need for it since I got my new bumper.

The thing is, the Axleman unit is of the same quality and a bit less expensive at $89 (I own that one). The ebay one I posted above works in the exact same way (tow hook) and is $45.

A word of caution, I bought a tow hook mount from stillen before the RHO one. That mount was 69 bucks, and it was the incorrect size for my tow hook.

And I know there is a few different sizes for FX tow hooks/thread pitches. So If you buy some ebay shit, there is every possibility it might not fit. Because most of those companies probably dont do any testing.

RHO bracket is 10X the quality of the Stillen bracket

I like how the RHO can be tightened with a socket from the end VS Stillen using a wrench
RHO has thinner adapter than Stillen, RHO works with "Rookie" bumper VS Stillen does not
RHO has available GoPro brackets, I wont use that but its cool
RHO has much more adjustability of placement and angle than Stillens fixed mounting

Good stuff, thanks guys. Anybody with pictures of the RHO (or comparable) plate on a Gen 2? The link above is on a Gen 1, with the plate centered. I like that. But I think the tow hook on the Gen 2 is more off-center, and a plate mounted there may look like I am trying too hard.

I like the plate off to the side, they make extension brackets too so you could get it closer to center
