Painting roof rack and side vent

Hey guys I have a 2nd gen fx35 and wanted to paint my roof rack and side vents to match the qx70s ones. Does anyone know how to take off the roof rack and the vents?

For the vents, you'll have to partially remove the inner wheel liner thing and reach the vents from behind, there's 3 clips you have to push out. Just be gentle so as not to brake the clips.

You can buy a set of trim removal tool from amazon for $10-15
