Hey Guys!
I have some super glue that smudged onto the car... long story. Does anyone know if Goo Gone is strong enough to remove it without damaging my paint?
Thanks!

Try to heat it lightly with a heat gun or blow dryer to soften it then wipe it off... heat lightly!

And it would probably take the paint off !?!?

Clear coat and wax will protect the paint as long as its a small area, and you are careful not to use too much.

I would recommend a quick polish and wax of the area once the superglue is gone.

I've used acetone on paint without problems (the 100% stuff from hardware stores). I didn't leave it on long, but no damage.

Super glue dries hard like an acrylic. You might want to wet sand the area with a fine grit paper and then buff out with rubbing compound and reapply wax. My two cents...I have used super glue on wood working projects as a finish coat and this has worked for me.
