Had a 95 Honda that I had, then gave to kids, then gave it back, with 284,000 on the clock. Nephew graduated high school needed a car. My son said all the neighbors were laughing behind my back that I had such an old car in a nice neighborhood. So, we gave the Honda wagon, which ran like a top, and I was going to keep for 500k, to nephew. Went looking for cheap replacement. Wife said, try the dealers. Since I had driven a rented QX70 down in Cali, and drove the Mulholland Highway and other canyon roads in it,I Went to Lexus of Bellevue where had this '09 FX 35, in like new condition. I thought I was getting a good handling off highway capable machine. Nope. I didnt' know that it is based on the 350/370Z platform. You run over a bottle cap and the car shakes, but in a solid way. I drive my Z06 on the road course, so imagine my surprise in finding that this 350 on stilts handles so well. Now, I have two sports cars!
