Your car wash

Well, yeap... like the tittle says, your car wash. Since we all like to take care of our babies and we don't want anyone or anything touching them, when it comes to getting it clean we prefer getting our hands "dirty" ourselves. I personally love taking care of my car, washing and waxing as many times as possible, no matter how hot or cold it is, trying to keep that paint looking crisp and shiny and that interior dust free and smelling gooood!.

So i decided to create this thread so we can share what products we use, discuss which are better, equipment and pics of our work.

Personally, i love meguiars, they have a variety of good products specially when it comes to soap. Black magic is good but only on the interior and tires.
This is what i use on My car wash.

Meguiars Gold Class car wash, a brush(for the roof and rails), and three different microfiber towels, and of course the bucket (i dont use two buckets since im always rinsing the towel after each pass on the car)

Let me know what you guys think, suggestions and of course share your own car wash!:top:

I use A LOT of the same products you use. I am a Meguiars fan. That Stoner's glass cleaner is the best as far as I am concerned. How does the Back to Black work on the FX's trim? I have an old bottle but have been hesitant to use it on the FX.

1. Meguiars Gold Class Car Wash
2. Turle Wax Ice Spray Wax
3. Meguiars Ultimate Black
4. Turle Wax Ice Detailer
5. Meguiars Odor Eliminator

I have a ton of products in my garage. I have Meguiars: Ultimate Compound, Ultimate Polish, Ultimate Wax, Clay Bar Kit, Quik Detailer Spray, Ultimate Detailer, Ultimate Quick Wax, Cleaner Wax, ScratchX, PlastX, Endurance Tire Spray Gel, Interior Cleaner, Leather Conditioner, Hot Shine Tire Foam.

I also have Mothers Back-to-Black, Stoner Invisible Glass, Rain-X Glass Cleaner, ArmorAll Tire Gel, ArmorAll Leather Gel.

I have just bought some Turtle Wax Ice Car Wash to try.

I like to mix it up and see what works best for me. I found that I dislike Meguiars Ultimate Polish & Wax.

It works great, just apply to clean and dry surface (make sure is not too hot), wait 10-15 min and then use a clean towel to make it shine. Been using it for a while now and haven't had any issues.

how long does the back to black last on the plastic trim?

Back to Black is a trim protectant that can bring trim back to a new look if it's not too faded or neglected, you can put as many coats as you want of the product and of course the more you put the more it lasts. Since I've been using it for a while my car trim doesn't required more than one coat and it last a long time.
