So bought the M 6 weeks ago and today the battery went dead. Are you serious?

Some background. The day I bought the car it was sitting in the showroom and had 22 miles on it. When they try to start the car to take me for the test drive the battery was dead. I was told that it was probably because the car was in the showroom for a couple of weeks, they swapped the battery in front of me and car was all good. I have been noticing for the
Last few days that at times when I go and start the battery sounded week, but never really thought it was anything to be concerned about. Today I get up and drive off to work. 9 hours later I drive off to my mothers house to say hi and when I went to leave battery had enough juice but not enough to turn the engine. Roadside came and boosted the battery. Everything runs well, but damn I have lost faith in the car, specially when I see so many threads on the Internet about battery discharge gremlins on all sorts of infiniti vehicles.

Could someone point me in the right direction as I got the feeling the car will work fine once in the dealership and won't have a resolution to the problem?

Car only has 2400 miles

Thanks

Edwin

Well, they probably put in a used battery when they replaced it.

no they wouldn't because it would be under warranty to get a new one. bad batches of batteries happen. thats why Infiniti makes every dealership do a battery voltage test before each vehicle gets delivered.
