Would you trade FX50S to a X5M?

Prolly wrong place to ask if u like Bmw (wink) my brother had a older BMW X5 4.6is. He's had lots of problems with that one.... he was also interested in a x5m but he said the only way he would do it is if had extremely low miles with a good warranty lol
 
Lease it no longer than the warranty or have deep pockets for repairs. But it would be one hell of a ride!
 
I just drove them both and ended up buying the QX70S. Just an opinion but I agree w Pin, get a one owner low miles w warranty.
 
Had 2 BMW X5 E70 4.8i before..... love the road feel, just none other maker could replicate BMW road feel, even my previous 2007 MB ML63 AMG (sold it in a month)...but just never like the finicky of German made. Love have the X5M but a bit worry about the reliability.
 
I would get one, if it's not a daily. Or get one with extended warranty. It's a $90k vehicle, so expect a $90K maintenance prices.
 
Ya I used to have a BMW 540 and they handle like no other vehicle that's for sure. Love the heavy solid feel... buts spent LOTS of money on it...
 
if you want an SUV that is faster and has better handling, and have the wallet for it, I'd go X5M.
 
The BMW X5M is a great SUV, whether it be on the track, for daily commutes, or just plowing through the winter snow. The handling, performance, looks, and overall power are very unique in BMW vehicles. At the same time, there is a price to pay for all that awesomeness. But if you can afford it, go for it! I have an X5 M Sport myself :)
