Hi All,
Just purchased a 2007 FX45, ohhhh baby do I love this thing!!
I will need to put winter tires on and have no intention of waiting for the fall when the entire country is thinking the same thing and there isn't a winter tire to be found. I talked to a local and reputable tire guy today and he cannot find 20" winter rims. He suggested 18" rims with Yokohama TI tires. Is this a wise thing to do, dropping the rim size by 2"?
He also indicated the tire pressure sensors would need to be replaced as well, I was planning on getting the tires mounted on the rims now, and then just changing them out on a weekend when the weather turns.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
