Windows Tint On top of Stock ones

I just want to clarify some confusion I have here... do you mean 0% as in not tinted at all, just for the UV/heat protection? Or do you mean 0% as in it lets 0% reflected light out, aka opaque black? :embarrassed: (5% = limo tint, 20% = close factory match, 50% = very light "smoke" color, and 100% = clear, lets all light in and back out)

haha sorry, got the tint % mixed up. i wanna get 100% ceramic so it looks stock plus i dont wanna get hassled with fix it tickets. ceramic a good way to protect leather seats and interior from damaging UV rays correct? for the guys that have ceramic, is it a lifetime warranty?

% is the light transparency, so 100% is = no tint, 5% is limo, you can't really go below 5% otherwise you will not see shit at night, best option is 35% 3m, blocks UV pretty well and cops will not give you hard time.
IDK how peeps in SoCal or other southern parts of US can drive without tint...it's terrible, I was pulled over few weeks ago for not having front plates but lieutenant who pull me over did't say anything about my tint..35% is da best choice, 5% is too dark for me.

Hey..

Does anyone have pictures of "inside the vehicle looking out" & "view from exterior" shots of 20% tinted front windows to match factory tinted windows?

My biggest concern is the shade/color of the tint being really off. (I had a bad experience with that on a Jeep, new fronts look grayish and the rears are kinda greenish)

The place that I'm going to uses Johnson brand tint, what do you guys think about that?

I had 20% all around done in my last car from the same place, and I had absolutely no problems with fading or air bubbles. So I am going back to them again.

Also.. I was wondering if anyone had tint all the windows with 20%/35% on top of OEM tint in the rear? If so, what are your impressions? Is it too dark? All you see is pitch black in the back window on a non-lit back-road?

Opionions and suggestions appreciated!

I went with 15% on the fronts and 35% on the rears. The rears are really hard to see thru from the outside looking in. At night backing out my driveway i rely on my brake lights and just knowing where i am. All my windows look the same color so i dont think you'll have a problem with the color as long as they are a smoke color.

I tinted the rears 5% (limo) and it took me a while to get used to it. But now its fine and I can see through normally. Great addition if you don't want anyone to see what you have in the back.

I have 3m ceramic, & it matches really well, but lighter. It's a med, but I dont know the percentage. It also doesnt block radar signals
