Another thing you can try.

Hold the switch up until they are closed, and then KEEP HOLDING IT for a few seconds. This should reset the pinch protection. Do this from the drivers switch.

I just recently started having issues with the drivers side power window. Everytime i use the Automatic Up feature, the window goes all the way up and then back down about 1/4 of the way. The only way i can raise the window is to do it manually, without auto-up. Does anyone know how to fix that?

I had this issue when I replaced my drivers side lock actuator -- I think you cycle the window all the way down then all the way up -- i forget the sequence. Hopefully someone can chime in. It auto resets, but yes I had the exact same issue.

Thanks for the reply Chedman. I've tried a few different sequences with the window switch but to no success. I hope I can get a few other ideas cause this is really challenging my patients. Haha.. .

I just got my 07 FX35 2 days ago, so please allow me to ask : what does this do??

Does it allow us to set the point where we want the window stop by using the "auto raise" or "auto drop" button for our windows?? If so, this is only applicable for the front windows only, right (since there is no "auto raise/drop" on the backseat windows)

Ok Im going to try the reset procedure, Anyone know how to remove the drivers door panel? Are there any hidden screws I should know about? Thanks.. .

SAWEET! I did the reset thing and Bam, the window is working again. BTW, there's only 3 philips head screws and a few clips holding the door panel on. Once you remove the screws just pull from the bottom. Thanks for all the help guys!! !
