I have to buy a new set of winter tires ( i know - very late :)
Will 275/40/20 tire fit stock 20" ? I can get them in better price than 265/50/20 !

You're going to have lots and lots of wheel gap if you don't mind. I think a lowered car would look like it wasn't even lowered.

MY FX wasnt lowered (jet) so thats no problem. I worried about handling during the winter than gaps. ;)

Should I look for 275/45 instead of 275/40? They are bit larger.

Well it will be even worse then if you aren't lowered. Actually I kind of want to see it, so you should get the tires. We're gonna be talking Porsche Cayenne high looking here.

Either way you will be fine, use the calculator to figure your speedometer difference. If you want a size closer to stock look into 275/45/20.

Just took a peek at onlinetires.com and actually 275/45/20's are cheaper than 275/40/20's

Guys If you would see these holes in the street complexion /in Poland/ you wouldn't be surprised why I want keep my FX higher ;)
Thanks for help i will look 275/45 r20 .

if your FX is lowered your FX will be fine with pot holes. Unless they are as deep as the Grand Canyon.

You do realize that by getting smaller tires you are actually lowering your FX a little bit? I'm not talking about actually lowering your FX. I'm just saying it will appear less lower, which some people dislike.
