Which Wax?

Mequiars NXT 2.0 followed by Ultimate Wax.

But whatever YOU chose to use be sure to clay the car first, then if you are able a good polish to clean up the paint a bit. If you take care of it from there the occasional clay and rewax will be all you need for a long long time.

I have been testing the "Prima" series of products recently. I must say, they are very impressive. Not the cheapest, but I really like the results so far. I'm detailing a truck for a Seal that has been deployed for nearly 8 months so he can come home to a clean car. It's a black Ford Ranger that was stored outside for the duration. It is in great overall shape, but really needed some paint love. Prima has two products just for use on black vehicles.

I got them here:

I'm a Zaino user like Wayne as well, best stuff I have used so far.

I use mothers paste wax on just about everything. It's a little work but is an excellent cleaner wax that leaves a very durable shine.

I am using collinate 845 at the moment.
Long holding time of min. 6 month.
Or i use wax oil glaze glazeguard.
