which intake to buy

1- Stillen Airbox with Z-tube is a good combo .. it has a closed heatsheild same as the stock powerduct.

otherwise, you can also look at the
2- JWT popcharger + Z-tube
3- LMS CAI (i don't think they still selling it)

i have LMS CAI it sounds great but i hate that it's an open cone filter (w/o Heatsheild)

LMS makes a Ztube for us- you'd probably have to find a used one though since they dont make them anymore.

I put my lms on with a stock box and flat filter just to reduce the sound of my charger.

If you are talking about putting a cone inside the stock box there isn't much room in there.....one person did do it with a reverse cone made by k&n (you all remember his name ...piniti:2smile::nerd:)

is it ok to use reverse cone filter? will affect the air flow negatively?

i just put on my lms with jwt popcharger and the things screams at wot , and espcially at 2-3000rpm you can hear it sucking in all that air , will post vids this weekend

Question about the Popcharger. I don't see an FX specific one, so will the G, and more importantly, the Z one fit with no, or only minor, issues?

Stulax's question never was answer, I'm interested to hear the answer to his question. Anyone out there?

It'll fit but it'll be short as with any Z intakes. If you use the accordion piece and the MAF section from your stock intake, it should work. A search at the .org for pop charger should give you some applications.
