Thinkin about getting some 3m carbon fiber to put on my vents and a few other places. Wheres a good place i can buy some?
Also i want to get a clear coat. Any recommendations?

Not sure where this thread belongs. Move if needed.

I think I got my 4x4' sheet off eBay at a reasonable price. I paid like $80 or something for it shipped and I still have half of it left.

eBay is the only place you'll find pre-cut sizes right for you. Watch out for shipping charges!

pre-cut as in already cut to go right over parts such as the side vents?

there are 3 3m carbon vinyl wraps. One di-noc(matte black finish),glossy and generic.
if u got matte black and used a primar would it look glossy?
Is the glossy not di-noc? (not really sure what di-noc is)

Not pre-cut shapes, just pre-cut sizes like the 2x2 you are talking about. The production sheet comes in a three foot wide roll, 50 feet long. eBay vendors buy a roll and then sell cut peices as people order them.

di-noc is a 3M proprietary vinyl plastic wrap. Using a heat gun, it forms really well to bends and curves. The material will stretch and bond to the surface without crinkling or creasing. It is also very easy to correct if you mess up - just peel it off and a heat gun will make it return to it's original shape when it is not bonded to the surface.

Watch some youtube videos of di-noc installation. Just watching one of those will teach you a lot of what you need to do.

It's not meant to paint - try to find exactly the color and texture you want. If you did paint it, you might have to experiment with types of paint that will bond well to the vinyl. I've never seen painted wrap.
