I was thinking of the things I can check on the car and wonder when (mileage) would be a good time to change out the spark plugs.
I also want to know if this would cause my 1/4 times to be lower than stock.:embarrassed:

I searched the maintenance schedules and I didnt find it there.

Anyone with a recommended plug manufacture/pn?

here is the link with the different ones offered.

thanks

As far as I know, our plugs don't need to be changed until 80K-100K.. You can change them earlier to get a little boost in performance (may not be noticeable) if you'd like..

How to change Spark Plugs

Hi all,

How do i change spark plugs for my FX35 with 110000km. Is it require any special stool and safe to DIY (Take old one out and put new one in) ?

Thanks all.

I personally use NGK Coppers and change them at around 10K miles.

copper plugs have a stronger burn. Down side is normally wears down near 30k.

We have plats or double plats, I don't know yet as I didn't pull them off yet. Recommend at 105k, I'll be doing mine at 70k. You do not want to have a seized spark plug, hence why I'm doing them early.

Hopefully I can do them without removing the plenum

The guys at Uprev recommend changing them every 20-25K unless you've been tuned, I guess they've seen a 3whp gain just from swapping in new plugs... Very cheap HP :)
