Wheels w/o TPMS sensor

Hey all, I'm thinking of getting some wheels for the ride and it does not accept TPMS. Just wondering if anyone here has these rims and if its a big deal to lose the TPMS sensor.
Thanks.

I run winter tires on aftermarket rims without TPMS. The tire pressure warning light comes on after about 30 min of driving at highway speeds only. The warning goes away the next time you start the car. Nothing else happens. Doesn't disable any of the car's systems. :-)

I think tpms is awesome & wouldn't want to give it up personally. most rims that don't accept tpms sensors directly can be drilled to accept it in a different spot. I've done this to a set of iforged that don't take tpms & also a set of hre's same thing but for an aftermarket tpms in a diffent car, I've also done a few other one piece wheels too, most rims can be done, but you have to make sure whoever's doing it isn't a moron because one wrong hole & well, your kinda screwed. I can't remember ever seeing a rim that this couldn't be done to now that I think about it

dont mean to threadjack but was thinking about just posting it in this thread since its TPMS related

ok awhile ago i had my tpms installed onto oem rims that did not have it and then it was programmed by the dealer. last week, some of the sensors on the screen read ** while others read 28. Then a couple days ago now all the sensors except 1 read ** and the last one reads 28 again. The warning light is lit up on the dash. Planning to take this to the dealer to see whats going on but was wondering if anyone had any suggestions first - like if my tpms sensors are shot or if there is a programming error

I really like the TPMS. Buy the correct one and use these adapters:
http://www.iforged.com/store/index.php?cPath=4&osCsid=02ea9d8bc93f1a9ec4c16e41e771e06d

I have an extra set of:
TPMS Bracket Adapter

and

TPMS Straight Sensor Adapter

PM me if you are interested. They work for non-iForged wheels as long as you buy the correct adapter.

my iforged came with those adaptors, but I threw them in the garbage  they may be a possible solution but are far inferior in strength & reliability to drilling for a proper mount, having a choice I wouldn't trust them, although I guess they can also kinda do the job too
