I have them on the stock 21's, silver on silver rims, you have to look close or you won't notice it, verrrrry happy with them! my wife drives 80% in the FX (you get the picture), so when I found these on the net........... 1 week later they were on! replaced 2 protecters since then (wife!), 1 time she took a corner so bad that the protecter was severely damaged, but the rim was untouched! without a protecter that rim would have been destroyed. Second advantage is that if you already have some (minor) curb damage the protecter's cover that up, so your rim's will look mint again! to be fair, I once parked (too) close to the curb and started wondering why I was feeling some resistance while backing up, stepped out to take a look and discovered that I had been rubbing the curb for about 1 meter! (that's the only negative, if you do rub a curb you don't hear that dreaded metal scraping cement sound, but then its too late anyway, isn't it?) with minor curb rubbing you can take a Stanley and peel a layer off the protecter and they look mint again, you don't have to replace them with minor rubbing. The one's I use (Alloygator) are made of a very strong nylon, can take a bashing and (for me) make the rims look more aggressive due to their pyramid shape. Alloygator's look thicker than those in your link, can take a bashing, don't come loose and do not need adhesive, just deflate the tire, use a rubber hammer to wedge then between rim and tire, then inflate again and the protecter is tightly secured.
