Anyone around the LA area ever get some wheel/rim work done? I need to get some black spots off my rims or get them repainted. Tried to polish them off, but no luck. Please refer....

Yo try Fast Forward wheels in Monterey park...they can do repairs and refinishing. Haven't used them myself but planning to...seen ppl on other forums that said good things.

I had one of my wheels straightened at Inland Wheel Center they did a great job and have the right equipment to do the job----

Thanks guys, I'll call or email them to get a price range. I'll probably get some quotes for mobile repairs as well. Mobile would make things easier, but I don't know about the quality vs dropping the wheel off at a shop.

So I got the job done by a mobile wheel guy (Mackabee;s Wheel and Rim repair) on the two front wheels only. I didn't want to drop my rims off at a shop and be carless. Work was good and he was friendly, but color match was off. He told me this before hand that he has yet to find a mobile guy that could match the exact Gunmetal silver. I'm guessing it's more of a Hyper Silver. In the sun light you can't really tell, but in the shade I could. I'll probably get work done on the back so they match for now and then just move up to 22" wheels. Btw, I was charged $75 a wheel.

UPDATE: Got the rears done, they look fine. Better then paying an arm and leg for replacements.
