i have a 2006 non sport w/20" stocks right now.

i want to put on some aftermarket chromes but still use my current tires. my stock wheels are about a 40 offset and 8" wide. the new wheels are 35 offset and 9.5 wide. will i be able to use my current tires? and the offset being a bit off, will it make a difference?

Welcome to IS.

Won't be a problem. You will have to check with your tire to see if it can be fitted on 9.5 wide. I don't think that will be a problem personally, but you should always check. +35mm offset will not stick out too much.

There is a wheel offset calculator, which you will find by use the "Search" function.

Here you go. All the wheel, suspension and tire info are here: ///3610

thanks for the info. how exactly would i check my tire?

my current tires are:

265/50R-20 111V Toyo Proxies all season and are currently mounted to the stock 20" 40 offset 8" wide wheels. the wheels i want to put on are 35 offset and 9.5" wide.

Tire manufacturer's (Not retailer) website should have that info when you look at the tire specs.

according to toyo website it lists 7.5-(8.5)-9.5

so anything between 7.5-9.5 is a go im guessing?
