Wheel eating monster potholes

Yest, saw a guy in a bimmer hit a huge crater on the Conduit near Linden and boom, you can see his rear passenger tire deflating real fast. Damn!

def cant complain about the roads out here in norcal seems like they are always paving them, for no reason...but my fam lives in levittown and i hear you with the belt parkway and the LIE they dont give a shit about those roadways..i think they should use army engineers to fix roads, would save the county a ton of money...but then again nobody would join the army if they they new they be paving roads for 14k a year lol.

Here in AZ, we get the 110 degree summers that will soften the asphalt, allowing it to become cracked. Then the monsoons come in and cause the asphalt to lift and then sink. Then come alligator asphalt, pot holes, raised cracks. They all get "filled". Might as well be off-roading at times.

I spoke too soon... the potholes did do damage.. I have one lip that needs to be replaced I think... not sure if it can be straightened... might damage the chrome anyway with straightening it... I have another blemish on the other rear chrome lip too so might just replace 2 lips... ahhh, was very stupid of me to still be driving it in the freezing weather, I knew full well that potholes were going to be a problem with these wheels, def stupid to be driving on them instead of winter wheels... also realizing that the 22" wheels I was planning on using as winter wheels may not be such a hot idea too, probably better off with 20" winter wheels, ahh, stupid... live & learn I guess...

that blows, man. too often I think when I buy something it will last forever. The older I get, the more I realize that's just not true.

I'm still surprised when I wear out the sole of a shoe. Dangit - I paid $150 for those shoes - they should last forever!!!
