Whats the stuff on the windshield and rear view mirror?

What's the black mesh part behind the rear view mirror on the windshield for? Also what's the white señor behind the readview mirror for?

Those dots keep the glare off your rear view mirror.. and lets a little light in instead.

oh thoguht it was some type of antenna. what about the sensor on the back of the rear view mirror?

It's called a dot matrix I believe (not to be confused with the printer lol). And yeah it's there to keep glare from headlights off and what not.

Yeah, that stuff makes ours a $600.00 windshield. I had mine replaced recently (on my insurance company of course).
