What do you guys think about this next upgrade im getting

I would seriously goto another shop......$450 for labor on the springs is highway robbery. The average shop charges about $80 per hour......and its not a 5hr job thats for sure.

They counted it as a 5 hr job while the headers a 6 hr job

That's great, decent proven gains. Nice to see. And I meant $499 for the headers is a great price, the last set of headers I purchased were $3100 uninstalled...:err:

Where are you buying the headers from, do you have a link? I might jump on these for $1000 installed.

http://www.stillen.com/product.asp?id=STIHDR03 there is the link the website that has the headers.

it seems stillen has FINALLY admited that the fx35 headers are the same as the 350z... they used to charge $200 more for fx headers & even used to have different part #'s for fx headers too, so I just ordered 350z headers & installed them, same thing... guess too many called them on ripping people off, bad for business, now they show as same price, same part #, finally...

the headers are def a bit loud but not to the point of being obnoxious really, depends on your tolerance level I guess, at first I was a little put off by the noise but have since gotten used to it & don't mind it so much really... I have the stillen headers & stillen complete 2.5" dual exhaust on my fx, I'll try to get a sound clip for you guys... they really scream at full throttle but part throttle not so bad overall... been waiting for an oportunity to record mine along with a stocker as a real reference, otherwise just one recording by itself don't really show much, ned a reference to really get a feel for the difference in volume & sound... next time soons around I'l try to record his take off & cruise VS mine...

I'm currently using TopSpeed headers and the rest of the exhaust bone stock. Like turbo said, it's screaming at full throttle, but mine is pretty close to stock at cruising, and is stock at idle.

As for springs... my buddy and I installed springs for the first time and it took roughly 2 hours. That ends up being 4 man-hours, but like I said it was our first time doing it, so 2.5 hrs of labor is a good estimate, 3 hrs MAX.
