What 18" Tyres since Yokohama Avids no longer made?

30K miles on my 08 FX3 AWD and the Potenza's need replacing. Lots of older threads on this board (and others) that recommend the Yokohama Avids as a replacement. Unfortunately these are no longer in production and it appears the update Envigor tyres do not come in the correct size.

Any consensus on which tyre to purchase? Cost is not really an issue but it would be good if I could get more than 30K miles out of the tires if they are expensive. :)

Based in NorCal Bay Area and driving on the freeway so no winter or snow to deal with.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Welcome to iS!

A tire rack search for the size you want could help find a good tire/price combination. You might even see some reviews on there from FX'ers.

I think the most common tire here on the forum is the Yokohama Parada Spec X. Great tire, less expensive than the Goodyear RSAs that came with the car.

Cooper Discoverer H/T Plus. 460 AB. great tire for it's price.

Unfortunately the Parada-X only comes as a 20" otherwise that would have been a shoe in. Was looking at the Bridgestone Dueler H/P Sport but if I can get a good set of tyres for $160 each (thanks bleendingsujit) rather then $210 then that is obviously an advantage.

Appreciate all the input

no problem man, I've had them tires from Feb till June and they were definitely awesome. Minimal road noise, excellent grip, tread design is very good, nada happened in the rain, i loved it.
also they can be found for a cheaper price as for example

i bought mine for $125.00
