Water Transfer Wheel Painting

A friend of mine bought the kit to do this. He a did a couple covers under his hood in his turbo sonota and it looks pretty cool. Only thing is that id recommend getting it cleared afterwards. Looks like. It has the texture of flaking easily.

how much did the kit cost him and where did he get it from?

I saw this before but I am would still prefer getting pieces wrapped in real CF. It's a lot more time consuming and harder to do but it looks better

Ill ask him where online you get it from. From what he was saying, they send you special paper for your printer and some special spray. You go to home depot to get a plastic tub and you go to work from there.

yea I think this must be clear coated. I watched a bunch of these videos a few years back and they all clear coat everything

Clear coat is a must on all hydro dipped pioeces. The film is so thin and fragile that it would not stand a chance without clear coat. My hypro dipped pieces had a few coats of clear on them from the shops

+1 on this. After hydro dipping it a piece, it looks like you can rub off the pain/design with you finger. Needs a clear coat, and a few of them
