Water in headlights

So I recently purchased my first Infiniti a 08 Fx35 AWD I love it and usually when you get a car you start to notice them more everywhere you turn but I have been looking and I have yet to see another fx35 . So the issue I'm having is water seems to get in my headlight assembly and burns out my bulbs when it rains. As I'm sure everyone here knows the bulbs are expensive and driving with only DRLs is not the best idea so Guess my question is does anyone know how to get the water to stay out And how hard is it to remove the assembly Will I be able to do it myself

taking the headlamps out is not terribly difficult but it is a bit of work, you would need to take apart the bumper enough to hinge it forward enough to unbolt the headlights

here is the DIY for the bumper removal Front Bumper Removal

once they are out you can try dry them out with an air compressor

you can reseal the lights using a heat gun to get the old lenses off and butyl rubber to reseal them however that is a bit more involved, you may be able to use some silicone on the outside.

I would recommend looking at getting some replacement headlights, I do not know how much they would be in the USA but in Canada you can get a pair of housings (everything but the HID ballast) for about $600
