Warranty dont cover crack seats?

it's wear and tear; not covered. Unless the rest of the seat was not all cracked then they would have probably replaced it.....
I had the same issue with my old car.
 
brought it to another dealer today and they were even worse. they didnt even look at it. His excuse was "good leather always cracks" cause it is soft.... bullsh!t. Apparently infiniti canada doesnt cover cracks in leather..
 
No infiniti dealership covers cracks in leather unless it is inside the warranty period.

Had my driver's seat reupholstered at a local shop for $350 with OEM material. Matches perfectly - can't tell it was ever replaced. Dealership wanted to replace the whole seat.

you should the cracks on my seat. Sooo much worse than that. It seems that ALOT of people are having the issue with the cracking in the same exact spot. They should handle this like they handled the bubbling dash issue. This has been brought up a lot already.
 
Depends on the dealer. I had the same seat crack/tear in my drivers seat on the side(vinyl) and the dealers replaced it for me no questions asked. But I was still under warranty at that time.

for anyone who's seats haven't torn yet try petroleum jelly on the seat. the leather cleaner and protection i was using just didn't lubricate the cracks. the deep cracks was still dry. i'll let you know how it goes. i'm just trying to pervent the seat from tearing.
 
Ok, I have the same problem with the brick color seats. Mine is a 2007 FX35. I am out of Warranty and my milage is about 51K. I have been contacting infiniti customer service but they refuse to change it as I am out of warranty. In my opinion this kind of vynil needs to be recalled as it is of a poor quality and you wouldnt expect that from infiniti. I suggest that we ALL file a complaint with the BBB, their phone number is 1800 955 5100. I already called and filed a complaint, so if we all do the same, hopefully infiniti would realize its a problem that needs to be fixed.
