Please do not lower your FX/ QX70(the front) as low or lower than mine on Coilovers. If you have air suspension this wouldn’t be an issue because theres no suspension movement when hard parked. I have had BC coilovers on my RWD FX35 for some time now, and I always had this clunk over sharp bumps or steep driveways and I could never find the source of the noise. Shocks felt fine but just a loud clunk. Never did I think my front upper control arms were tapping the strut tower... Damn I’m glad I didn’t lower my car more or it wouldve gone through. Luckily at my ride height (VERY LITTLE tire tuck no wheel gap) the top of the upper control arm barely hits the metal and only leaves a mark over HARD bumps (People outside LA wouldnt understand). Here are some pictures for reference and don’t make the same mistake as me... I dont know if this has been mentioned before, but I guess I’ll share my experience... Lesson is to get bags if you want to be low Asf haha...
