Vibration

If you're running the RSAs, they sound beat. They are one of the shittiest tires on the market. Probably time for some new sneaks.
Looks like this thread got hijacked from ya

No, i only started noticing it about 2 weeks ago...so a 2 week window. They're about 80-90%. Not bad at all...i was lookin at it straight on tho and directly from the rear and my right rear seems to be slighly inverted (?)...um...looks like this / compared to straight up and down if that makes sense.

That's called 'negative camber', which you want some.
IF other side isnt the same, sounds wacked. Maybe stop letting the girl take the car out.
You know the story :err:

my steering wheel has vibration too. also my pedal is vibrate while i brake. especially when i brake hard. its like eveything has vibrate. my steering wheel and my pedal.i realize something. while im speeding like 90 when i touch the brake (not push it too hard) everything vibrates. i couldnt figure it out :(( any advise??

just hit the nail on the head.. my FX have the same problem too.. its kind of annoying when you have to hold the steering wheel really hard everytime that happeneds.

great question:tup:

I kinda got mastered on vibration problems. I've been experiencing problems for more than a year. This is what I'd do (in order if no improvement)
1) Check irregular wear on tires. If especially you're hearing grunting noise when about to come to a stop, your tires may be worn incorrectly due to a misalingment
2) If the humming noise increases as the speed increases (not just around 60), it might be your wheel bearings. Especially if you have more than 40K on your FX, it might be a problem
3) Wheels: Get your wheels road force balanced. If the above two are not the case, most likely you have a balance problem.
4) Check & increase your tire pressure a little. If you're running 30-32 psi cold, try 34 psi cold. Sometimes it solves the slight vibrations but don't expect anything major.
5) If nothing above works, go to the dealership and tell them to tighten the bolt on the steering wheel column. There's a bolt that increases/decreases the steering wheel tightness. Tightening half a tick can improve the vibration if the vibration is not tire/wheel related. This is what solved my issues. This isn't a major job. Just takes 15 mins.
6) If even that doesn't work, it's time to take a look at the drive shaft and/or steering wheel column.

it's the wheel balancing frst check to see if any weights fell off and then go get them rebalanced because that can cause vibration. alignment issues dont really cause vibration unless completely off, but I would check balance first then have your alignment checked. after that you wanna start looking at rotors if vibration is felt during braking. I know I had issue with my spacers but it was due to rust build up then I had my wheels rebalanced and I was fine

i balanced my wheels not long ago and it still does it.. i will have to look at the rotors and see if that the cause of the problem.
